Marine Construction
CDS supports waterfront construction at all scales. From docks and piers, to pile installation, to seawalls, to boat ramps, to cathodic protection, to cable and pipeline repair, CDS maintains the tools and expertise to complete projects on time and within budget.

Salvage
CDS has salvaged vessels from 10-foot personal watercraft, to commercial vessels over 100 tons. CDS works directly with vessel owners, salvage masters, & insurance companies to safely meet the expectations of the operation.

U/W Welding & Burning
CDS uses Broco exothermic cutting rods and wet welding electrodes for a variety of tasks including seawall repair, zinc anode installation, removal of steel debris and bulkheads, and demolition of various underwater structures.

Engineering Support
CDS provides visual & video inspection services, leak detection, NDT testing, sampling of various materials or specimens, & deployment of instruments. CDS has worked with engineering firms, government agencies, and research institutions in providing these services.

HAZMAT
No space is too tight, no water is too toxic. CDS has worked in sewers, wastewater outflows, confined spaces, and at superfund sites conducting a wide variety of tasks. CDS also support environmental spill response support.

Video & Photo Inspections
Using CCTV and high res digital imaging equipment, CDS can capture work tasks for your viewing, and can use video to record inspection of ship hulls and various structures.

Mooring Services
CDS has installed and services more than 500 moorings throughout RI and Southern New England. CDS works closely with Harbormasters and vessel owners to meet local registration regulations. CDS is also the exclusive RI representative of the Helix Mooring System, the most durable and long lasting mooring system on the market.

Yacht Husbandry
CDS provides hullcleaning services, zinc installations, removal of line in the wheel, and prop removal services for all sized vessels, from small personal watercraft, to racing yachts, to megayachts. CDS diver are detail oriented and will leave your hull looking and performing like new.

Shipyard Operations
CDS supports haul outs of megayachts, rigging for drydocking of barges and tugs, and general yard support such as dock repair, recovery of lost items, piling inspections and rehab.

24/7 Emergency Response
In collaboration with the USCG and other response organizations, CDS provides 24/7 emergency response support for missing persons, sinking/stranded vessels, natural disaster relief, and other catastrophic events. Please add us to your emergency contact list.
